Dinosaur Discovery: At-home activity

Our April monthly curriculum is Dinosaur Discovery. What a better way to discover dinosaurs than by breaking some dinosaur eggs up to discover a surprise!

Materials:

• Water
• 1 1/4 c. dirt
• 1 1/4 c. flour
• 3/4 c. salt
• 1/2 c. sand
• Small plastic dinosaurs

Mix dry ingredients and start adding water slowly until it holds firm. Form mixture in an egg shape around each plastic dinosaur and allow them to dry in the sun. Once hardened, break the eggs open with your child to discover the dinosaurs inside!
