August 2023 National Teacher of the Month

The Teacher of the Month award is designed to recognize an employee who exemplifies our core values, which are compassion, humility, integrity, loyalty, and discipline. This month we are pleased to announce that our 2023 August National Teacher of the Month is Ms. Heyley of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool of The Woodlands, TX.

In talking about how Ms. Heyley exemplifies LSP’s core values, Program Director Ms. TK said, “Heyley is passionate about learning and early childhood education. She creates truly dynamic and engaging lesson plans and has as much fun implementing them as her students do participating in them. Heyley is loved by her peers and is always willing to help them out as well as mentor new staff members. Parents love Heyley and are always a little sad when it is time for their kiddo to transition to the next class. When asked to assist with tasks for the school, we can always count on Heyley to pitch in and help out. She has amazingly high standards and is an enormous asset to Team Woodlands!”
