This month we are pleased to announce that our 2021 December National Teacher of the Month is Ms. Morgan of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool of Gilbert, AZ at Val Vista

In talking about how Ms. Morgan exemplifies LSP’s core values, Program Director, Ms. Janae said, “Morgan is a very important and valuable teacher with LSP ValMs. Morgan, December 2021 Teacher of the Month Vista. Morgan began her journey with LSP in January 2019 and has progressed from a lead teacher to a member of our leadership team as a Head Teacher. Morgan has a strong passion for all things, LSP. She works hard each day to provide all children with the best ECE experience they can have. She is quick to help parents with anything and all things they need and is a constant support to the teachers she serves. We are very thankful to have Ms. Morgan at Val Vista!”

Here is some fun information about her and what makes her such a standout!

What age group do you teach?
Infants

What is the name of your classroom?
Head Teacher – Front Office

What do you love most about the age group you teach?
The snuggles and getting to watch them reach their milestones. I love being able to watch my students start as infants and go all the way to the preschool classroom.

What is your favorite curriculum project you’ve ever done in your classroom?
All of the artwork! But my favorite was getting a big sheet of butcher paper and letting students crawl around in the paint. The mess was awesome, and they all had so much fun with it!

Connecting not only with the students but their families as well. I have built so many great relationships and can’t wait to continue to do so!

The kids have always inspired me. Their love for learning and seeing how much they love coming to school every day is what inspires me to do what I do.
